Captain Bill Collins joined Sea Tow Boston's
team in 2003 as a full time year round captain. Bill works
primarily out of the Sea Tow Boston base servicing Sea Tow
members and other boaters in the greater Boston Harbor area.
Capt. Bill also works several shifts in the Sea Tow Salem
towboat Reliant, and the Sea
Tow Gloucester towboat Responder.
Bill comes to Sea Tow with years of maritime
experience. Capt. Collins retired from the US Coast Guard
Reserve after putting in 22 years operating Coast Guard small
boats. Bill has subsequently commanded everything from commercial
tugboats to water taxis around the Boston area. Bill's vast
experience is a welcome addition to the Sea Tow team.
